Abstract
This article briefly describes the analysis of the process based on the capacity spectrum method of the energy dissipation structure,and gives the calculation equation of the additional damping ratio of the energy dissipation damper,and analyzes the seismic rehabilitation of the existing office building with the use of the energy dissipation technology.The results prove that energy dissipation upgrade can significantly improve the performance of the original structure against the earthquake,and guarantee the safety performance aims of the building with the use to the medium-magnitude earthquake and no danger to the high-magnitude earthquake.
