Abstract
Objective To evaluate and compare the efficacy of different methods in root canal therapy of periapical periodontitis.Methods One hundred and sixteen teeth with periapical periodontitis and obstinacy were allocated to the camphophenique group(A),the oil eugenol grou(B) and the antiseptic cotton(C).One of three medications was given to 116 teeth.Results One hundred sixteen teeth were filled the root canal after one or two visit.(A)successful rate was 94.12%(32/34)and(B)successful rate was 98.4%(65/66)and(C)successful rate was 93.7%(15/16).Conclusion This investigation confirmed the clinical effects of medicament in therapy of teeth with periapical periodontitis and obstinacy.
