Abstract
From the perspective of beauty in sound,in form and in meaning,the author gives an analysis of Lin Daiyu's Elegy on Flowers translated by Xu Yuanchong,attempting to point out how beauty of the poem is successfully achieved by the transfer of words and comes to the conclusion that translation is the artistic reappearance of words and that the translator has to take the artistic elements into account when he renders the source poetry into the target one.
