The Change of cultivated land and Food safety in Yunnan Province

The changes of the population,cultivated land and food were analyzed from 1997 to 2005 in Yunnan Province in this paper.The situation and the characteristic of the change of average per capita cultivated land and food were studied.The cause of cultivated land change and its influence to food safety were analyzed.In order to ensure the cultivated land for food safety and meet the land demands of industrialization urbanization,the quantity of cultivated land should be guaranteed,the advance in science and technology should be made,the productivity of the cultivated land and utilization ratio of land should be improved.With the comprehensive treatment of mountain-water-forest-farmland-road-village,the countermeasures and suggestions for food safety were made by the support of achievements in scientific research,the improvement of land utilization style,the enhancement of law enforcement;and the improvement of the utilization ratio of land.
