The effect of early rehabilitation nursing on cognitive function after stroke

Objective To study effect of early rehabilitation nursing intervention on cognitive function after stoke. Methods The 80 patients with stroke in our hospital from March 2011 to March 2013 were randomized into the control group(routine nursing) and the observation group(early rehabilitation nursing intervention),40 patients in each group.The MMSE scores,WMS scores,CDR scores and clinical efficacy in the two groups were compared by the mini -mental state examination(MMSE),Wechsler memory scales(WMS),and clinical dementia(CDR) standard scale. Result Compared with the control group,the MMSE scores and WMS scores were significantly increased,the CDR scores were obviously decreased,the total effective rate was significantly increased,there was statistical difference(P 0.05).Conclusion For patients with stroke,the effective early rehabilitation nursing intervention can significantly improve the congnitive function and is worthy of clinical promotion.
