Early Rehabilitation Nursing of Patients with Cognitive Impairment After Stroke

Abstract

Objective To explore the early rehabilitation nursing of patients with cognitive impairment after stroke.Methods 68 patients with stroke were divided randomly into routine nursing group(32 cases) and rehabilitation nursing group(36 cases) in which we carried out cognitive training energetically.Cognitive function of patients in the two groups was assessed with mini-mental state examination(MMSE).Results Scores of MMSE showed that congnitive function of patients in rehabilitation group were apparently superior to those in routine group(p0.05).Conclusion Cognitive training is the key to improve the cognitive function of patients with stroke and reduce the occurrence of dementia.
