A Study on Chongqing's County Comprehensive Competitiveness

This paper establishes a evaluation indexes system of county comprehensive competitiveness, applies factor analysis to make empirical study on Chongqing’ s county comprehensive competitiveness, then makes cluster. The results show that the comprehensive competitiveness of each county of Chongqing is divided into three levels. The strongest is main urban areas, the second is center areas, and the competitiveness of remote areas is weakest. According to the location features, each county is mainly divided into two categories. Therefore, This paper puts forward that Chongqing should continue to give priority to the development of the central areas, and promote the development of remote areas.
