Current situation and measures of Shanghai marine industry

This paper analyzed the status of Shanghai's marine industry,from the points of the existing coastline resources,ports resources,the coastal economic density,Shanghai marine industry structure,the employment situation related to the sea and the position of Shanghai marine industry in Shanghai economy.It pointed the shortcomings of Shanghai mairne industry in developing process.For example,the structure needed to continue to be optimized,marine high-tech industry was still in a small scale,technological innovation was not enough,the management systems and the legal system was imperfect,and the monitoring system was not effective.So this paper proposed that Shanghai should continue to deepen the industrial structure in the development,to foster the marine industry group,to enhance the high-tech industrial development,to establish a sound management system and the tracking system.
