Abstract

The development level of modern service industry,which is one of Shanghai's leading industries,is one of the most important indicators of international competitiveness of a city,a region or a country.In order to build Shanghai into one of the most powerful international economic,financial,trading and shipping centers,we should take advantage of further opening up to the outside world after China's entry into the World Trade Organization and Shanghai World Expo 2010,and speed up the development of Shanghai's modern service industry.
