Comparative Study on AIDS Knowledge and Attitude Between Medial Students and Normal Students in Anhui

Abstract

Objective To compare the knowledge and attitude on AIDS among the student of different majors,and to provide bases for health education.Methods The students were chosen by randomized cluster sampling.Then an anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted among them.Results Medical students' knowledge level of AIDS prevention was higher than those of normal student.No significant difference in understanding three transmission routes of AIDS was found between medical students and normal students.There were significant difference between the two groups of students in some other transmission proutes,attitude to AIDS and sexual conception.Conclusion It is necessary to develop AIDS health education in colleges according to different demands of different majors.
