The average score in medical students was 90.11±8.61,while that of non-medical students was 82.00±12.61 and the difference between them was significant(t = 8.33,P﹤0.01). The investigation also revealed that some of the students(19.0% in medical students,24.8% in non-medical students)held a positive attitude of sexual behavior before marriage. For college students in Wu Han city, information of AIDS were mainly gained from journalisms and books, while telecast and internet were followed.[Conclusion]Basing on different characteristics of each department in universities, university authorities should develop health education in consideration of college student’s features, further enhancing systematic and all-around prophylaxis education of AIDS;while students should foster positive conception and lifestyle.
