Abstract

Objective To understand AIDS knowledge and behaviors among college students and the influencing factors,and to provide evidence for health education strategies.Methods A total of 802 students from 3 colleges were chosen by cluster sampling and surveyed by a self-administered questionnaire about AIDS.Results Statistical significance was found in AIDS elementary knowledge and transmitted routes(P0.000),medical students were better than others.Potential influencing factors were sex,census register and the knowledge about transmitted routes. Conclusion AIDS health education in colleges should be developed according to the different major characteristics.
