Demonstration Implementation of Dual Referral between General Hospital and the Community Health Service Centers under New Regional Community Mode

Objective To explore the establishment of dual referral system between community health service centers and general hospital under new regional community mode of medical health service so as to improve the time effectiveness of dual referral and satisfaction of patients.Methods The people's hospital of Beijing University and a general hospital of grade 3,and two community health service centers were chosen as pilot to establish dual referral system between community health service centers and general hospital under new regional community mode of medical health service.Results The effective rate of upward referral was 95.89%,and the effective rate of downward referral was 100.00%.The consultation rate through long-distance video was 100.00%,the passed rate of performance evaluation was 94.34%,and the rate of community doctors receiving long-distance video training on continuing education was 100.00%.Conclusion Demonstration implementation of dual referral between general hospital and the community health service centers under new regional community mode of medical health service provides a supporting evidence that is standardized and with strong feasibility for further improvement of the dual referral.
