Abstract

In this study, saccharomyces cerevisiae waste biomass was entrapped with the mixture of alginate and gelatin. The biosorption of saccharomyces cerevisiae of Pb2+ in single metal system was studied under the different conditions, such as biosorption time,pH,density of bear yeast. The results indicated that the biosorption procession was very fast,pH value had great effect on biosorption,a proper pH scope was at 4-7,the maximum biosorption capacity of unit biomass reached pH 6.The temperature affected the biosorption in a small extent.
