Abstract
The synthesis of n-butyl cinnamate catalyzed by p-toluenesulfonic acid supported on silica gel . The optimun conditions were the mol ratio of cinnamic acid and n-butanol was 1:2.5,the amount of the catalyst was 1.5g,the time of the reaction was 45min when 0.02mol of cinnamic acid was used.Under these conditions the yield of n-butyl cinnamate acid was up to 90.50 %.
