Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of tumor necrosis factorα(TNFα) and its receptor on pathogenesis of ischemic cardiovascular diseases(ICVD).Methods:Using the method of both antibody enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (BAELISA) the levels of serum TNFα and its soluble receptor (sTNFRⅠ?sTNFRⅡ) were detected in 67 cases with coronary heart disease (CHD),including 38 cases with acute myocardial infarction(AMI) and 29 cases with stable angina pectoris(SAP),and 19 healthy persons as control. Results:The levels of TNFα,sTNFRⅠ and sTNFRⅡ in patients with CHD were significantly higher than those in control group, meanwhile the differences of them between AMI and SAP were significant but there were not significant differences between sTNFRⅠ and sTNFRⅡ.Conclusions:There is a tight relation between the levels of serum TNFα,sTNFRⅠ,sTNFRⅡ and the occurrence and progression of ICVD.
