The Clinical Application of Defibrase for Acute Cerebral Infarction

Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of defibrase for acute cerebral infarction Methods We disigned a prespective,randomized and controlled trial and collected 301 patients with acute cerebral infarction from Jan 1996 to Oct 1998,which were devided into three groups:149 Defbrase,70 Dongling Defibrase and 82 Dextran 40 We examined plasma fibrinogen,plasma prothrombin time test,plate count,liver function,renal function and neurological function before and after treatment Results Defibrase had good effect for acute cerebral infarction and the total efficacy after 14 days therapy was 84 45%,which was significantly higher than that of Dextran40 The plasma fibrinogen decreased significantly after treatment of Defibrase and Dongling Defibrase,and increased slightly 7~14 days later Conclution Defibrase has the same effect as Dongling Defibrase,and is much cheaper Defibrase has a wide field in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction
