Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study effects of the tea polyphenol to rats exposed to the lead on activity of nitrico xide synthase(NOS) in blood and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in brain and liver,as well as concentration level of nitricoxide(NO) in blood and malondialdehyde(MDA) in brain and liver.METHODS Rats were exposed to lead by drinking (0, 0.1, and 0.1 g·L-1 Pb2+)lead acetate solution as the control group, model group and therapeutic group.Respectively,Activities of NOS and SOD, and concentration levels of NO and MDA were measured.RESULTS The tea polyphenol could increase the level of NO,decease brain and liver levels of MDA,restore the activity of NOS and SOD.CONCLUSION The tee polyphenols have certain effect of the treatment of lead exposured rats, but the recovery is not significant.
