Abstract
The aim of this study was to observe the effect of tea polyphenol(TP) on SOD and MDA levels in alcohol-induced liver injury by establishing pathology model of alcohol-induced liver injury in rabbit.Rabbits were divided into 4 groups, and treated with saline and tea polyphenol solution 10 mg/mL,20 mg/mL,40 mg/mL.The experimental period lasted 14 days.the activity of SOD and the content of MDA in hepatic tissue were determined. The result showed that tea polyphenol can directly decrease the content of MDA,and tea polyphenol with levels 20 mg/mL and 40 mg/mL can effectively remove the active oxygen and the free radical, and has the good protective function for alcohol-induced liver injury.
