Effect of Sanshen Yixin Decoction on Left Ventricular Function of Senile Coronary Heart Disease Patients with Heart Failure

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Sanshen Yixin Decoction on left ventricular function of senile coronary heart disease patients with heart failure.Methods:Ninety-eight senile coronary heart disease patients with heart failure were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,49 in each group.The two groups were treated with conventional therapy,and the observation group received Sanshen Yixin Decoction additionally.Results:The total effective rate was 95.9% in the observation group,and was 83.7% in the control group,the difference being statistically significant(P 0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular mass index(LVMI) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVDd) decreased significantly,E/A,stroke volume(SV),cardiac output(CO) and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) increased significantly in two groups,the difference being significant or very significant(P 0.05 or P 0.01).The improvement in the observation group was superior to that in the control group(P 0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP)were decreased significantly in two groups,the difference being significant compared with those in the control group(P 0.05 or P 0.01).And the improvement was superior to that in the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion:Sanshen Yixin Decoction can effectively improve left ventricular function of senile coronary heart disease patients with heart failure,without any side effects.
