Abstract

Objective: To set up a series of scientific,objective,comprehensive, and impartial nurse's work-related performance assessment and distributive project and to fully motivate nurses' enthusiasm. Methods: One hundred patients with first, second, and third rank nursing respectively in the model ward of high quality nursing service were randomly selected .to evaluate the average nursing hours every day. Nurses' performance were assessed according to their workload, nursing quality, nursing position, and patients' satisfaction. Results: The nurse's satisfaction to the new nurse's performance assessment project were higher than those to traditional one (P0.005). Conclusion: Work-related performance assessment motivates the enthusiasm of the nurses, stabilizes the nursing group, and improves the nursing quality and the service level.
