Abstract

In a two-year survey carried out in Jiuzhaigou Valley Natural Reserve,a great number of plant specimens were collected and identified.Fifty-eight genera with 219 species of the family Compositae were identified in the reserve.The dominant genera seemed relatively prominent and showed an obvious feature characteristic of the temperate zone.The composition of the flora appeared quite complicated.Most of the species endemic to China fell into the genus Saussurea.
