Abstract
According to the field investigation data of plant community in Jiuding Mountain Nature Reserve in Sichuan, there were 1790 species of seed plants belonged to 175 families and 665 genera in this region. There were 15 genetic areal-types of seed plants in al1.Based on the analysis of the flora, the major characteristics of the flora in the area were discussed. The temperate elements had 59.2% of total genera,328 genera, indicated the clear nature of the Temperate Zone, especially the North Temperate Zone(166 genera) in this area.In addition, the seed plant flora was rich in endemic species, with 18 genera and 19 species endemic to China. The tropical elements had 158 genera, accounted for 28.5% of total genera in this region.
