Features of Energy Consumption and Policies for Improving Energy Efficiency in Chinese Industrialization

In this paper,we study on features of energy consumption and policies for improving energy efficiency in Chinese industrialization. We found that from 1980 to 2000,it's the lower energy consumption that supports China's economy to grow rapidly. But this is only a temporary phenomenon,resulted from multi non-configuration factors' collaborative function. Since late of 1990s,China's energy consumption has been rising,it has much relation with the acceleration of industrialization. From long term's view,China's energy consumption will still follow the general rules of energy consumption during industrialization process. In the future,China should implement some policies to upgrade energy efficiency,including industrial restructuring,energy structure,technical progress,energy price,regional economy,reasonable development and utilization of energy resource,and so on.
