Imaging Examination of Pelvic Injury in Earthquake

Objective To explore the clinical value of imaging examination of the pelvic injury in earthquake.Methods Sixteen cases of the pelvic injury in earthquake with clinical and imaging data were analyzed retrospectively.All of the cases were performed X-ray plain film examination,CT in 8 cases and MRI in 2 cases.Results Imaging examination can establish definitive diagnosis in all cases.In the 16 cases,the single-level fracture was found in 9 cases,multiple-level fracture in 7 cases.The fracture of pubis was found in 13 cases,fracture of acetabulum in 4 cases,fracture of iliac ala in 2 case,and fracture of sacral vertebra in 1 case,sacroiliac dearticulation in 2 cases,diastasis of the symphysis pubis in 1 case,and diastasis of the articulatio sacroiliaca in 1 cases.Conclusion Imaging examination is the most valuable examination method in diagnosis of the pelvic injury in earthquake,and it can not only make definitive diagnosis,but also play an important role in selection of therapeutic planning.
