Study on the effect of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae sedative wine Jujuboside on sleep improvement of mice

To study the effect of jujuboside on the sleep of mice.Different doses of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae sedative wine,Semen Ziziphi Spinosae decoction,melatonin positive control group and water negative group was consecutively orally given to mice for 12 days.By measuring the spontaneous activity experiment of mice,the experiments of induced-sleep directly,prolonging sleeping time induced by pentobarbital sodium,affecting mouse sleeping rate under zhe threshold hypnogenesis dosage of pentobarbital sodium.The effects of sleep improvement of mice of each group were observed.Compared with control group,Semen Ziziphi Spinosae sedative wine and Semen Ziziphi Spinosae decoction could apparently inhibit the spontaneous activity.The sleep time of mice was prolonged obviously,the sleeping rate of mice was increased obviously and there no indirect sleep-inducing effect,and no significant effect on body weight of mice was observed.Jujuboside possess sedative and hypnotic effects in mice.
