An Investigation and Analysis of Present Teaching Situation of Young Teachers in Local Colleges and Universities

As the main part of the college teachers, young teachers' teaching ability and teaching level play an important role in guaranteeing the teaching quality as well as the quality of talent cultivation. According to the questionnaire survey of young teachers in some local colleges and universities, the author finds out that there exist some problems concerning the training and the improvement of young teachers' teaching ability that cannot be ignored either from the perspective of colleges or from the perspective of young teachers themselves. In order to constantly improve young teachers' teaching level, colleges and universities should take some measures such as the perfection ofassessment mechanisms, the construction of training systems, the enforcement of teaching guidance and the creation of harmonious teaching environment, etc.
