Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of hemoperfusion on inflammatory in acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning patients. Methods Patients who had been diagnosed with acute severe organophosphorus pesticide poisoning were selected for the study. The patients were randomly divided into two groups:hemoperfusion-treated group and control group. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-(TNF-),interleukin-1(IL-1),interferon-(IFN-) and interleukin-4(IL-4) were detected and statistically analyzed before treatment and six and 24 hours after treatment. Results Before treatment, there were no significant differences in TNF-,IL-1,IFN-and IL-4 between two groups(all 0.05).Sis hours after treatment,TNF-,IL-1,IFN-and IL-4 of treatment group were lower than those of control group(all 0.05);twenty-four hours after treatment,TNF-and IL-1 of treatment group were lower than those of control group(all 0.05).Conclusions Hemoperfusion call be used for treating acute severe organophosphoms pesticide poisoning by reducing inflammatory cytokines.
