Abstract
To assess the value of immunocytochemistry of hydrothorax and ascites in identifying multiple epitheliogenic malignant tumor cell and malignant mesothelioma,the cytological morphology and expression of ESA,CEA,CK,D2-40,CR,Mesothelial,KI67 and Vimentin of multiple epitheliogenic malignant tumor cell and malignant mesothelioma in 80 patients were detected and identified by immunocytochemistry.The results showed that the combined detection of ascites cytology and ESA,CEA,CK,D2-40,CR,Mesothelial,KI67 and Vimentin could identify the source of malignant epithelial cells and mesothelial cells.The combined detection may improve the accuracy of diagnosis in the difficult cases of hydrothorax and ascites cytology.
