Abstract
Objective To improve the diagnostic accuracy of hydrothorax by paraffin imbedding combined with Mesothelial Cell,CEA,CK and Vimentin immunohischemistry.Methods Tumor cells in hydrothorax were determined by paraffin imbedding combined with Mesothelial Cell,CEA,CK,Vimentin immunohischemistry.Results More positive incidence was shown by paraffin imbedding combined with Mesothelial Cell,CEA,CK,Vimentin immunohischemistry than that by normal cytology smear(P0.01).Conclusion Diagnostic accuracy of hydrothorax can be improved by paraffin imbedding combined with Mesothelial Cell,CEA,CK,Vimentin immunohischemistry.
