Abstract

Confucianism is one of main groups of Chinese Philosophy. Confucianism and Traditional Chinese Medicine have been coexisting for a long time. Both are moving towards one another, and they are complementary. Theory of Zhong Ge is important thought of Confucianism. Zhi Zhong stems from the golden mean, and Ge is Ge Wu Zhi, meaning studying nature of things to Ultimate Truth. This theory deeply influences origin and development of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The dialectic unity between Zhi Zhong and Ge plays an active role in development of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
