Abstract

《MengZi·GongsunChou(孟子·公孙丑)》:Confucius says: 'De zhi liu xing,su yu zhi you er chuan ming.(德之流行,速于置邮而传命)' About Zhi(置)in this sentence,nearly all the explanations areZhi(置),posthouse(驿站).But the true meaning of Zhi in this sentence should beset(设置).Furthermore,Zhi(置) has another meaning of mail-coach(传车).And a word,ZhiYou(置邮) doesn't means posthouse(驿站),but as quickly to set the posthouse to relay the order.
