Abstract

The total flavonoids from gardenia fruit were extracted by ultrasunic-assisted. The extraction condition was studied by orthogonal test and the content was measured by spectrophotometry. The optimum conditions are pointed out as follows:with the ethanol concentration70%, solvent amount 15mL/g, extracting time 20min and the extracting temperature 30℃, the flavonoids extraction ratio reach up to 14.45%.
