Abstract

[Objective] To study the ultrasonic-assisted extraction of total flavones from hawthorn leaves.[Method] With ethanol as solvent, the total flavones were extracted from hawthorn leaves using the ultrasonic waves, and the factors influencing the extraction rate were analyzed with single factor test and orthogonal experiment, finally the best extraction conditions were determined.[Result] The best extraction conditions were 50% of ethanol concentration,1∶ 24(g/ml) of solid-liquid ratio,60 ℃ of extracting temperature,30 min extracting duration and twice times of extraction, under the optimized conditions, the yield of total flavones could reach up to 2.43%.[Conclusion] The ultrasonic-assisted extraction has the advantages of short extraction duration and good extracting results.
