Abstract

Abstract A pilot orthoflow catalytic cracking unit suitable for investigations of the residumblending catalytic cracking process was developed by our researching group. Because ofadopting special technologies of the feed atomization,the catalyst cycle and so on,thisunit has the following advantageous features:the residum feed,the monoparameter ad-justment,the wide applicable range,the intimate simulation to commercial units,thestable operation and the flexible control.It can be used to all kinds of researches ofcatalytic cracking and its results are accurate,reliable and repeated.SUBJECT TERMS:fluid catalytic cracking,pilot unit,cracking catalyst,atomspheric residua,vacuum residua,feed
