Analysis of the Need to Accelerate the Development of Marine Economy

The 21st century is the century of ocean. Whether the marine economy can get sustainable development, not only related to the increased level of economic development along the coast, but also related to the sound and fast development of the national economy. For a long time, China has made great achievements in the development of marine resources and energy,which successfully solved the problems happened in our country’s development process. At the mean time, we also encountered diffi-culties in the development of China’s marine economy. Through research of the importance of China marine economic to the national economy, as well as present situation of China’s marine economy useful suggestions were made to be helpful for the develop-ment of marine economy.
