Development of China’s Marine Economy since Reform and Open Policy and Countermeasures

Since China adopted the policy of the reform and open,China has witnessed the rapid development of the marine resource. China’s marine economy has maintained a higher growth rate than that of the national economy at the same period,yet still has certain disparity with the global marine economy.Now,when the marine economy is developed,the main practice and experiences have been the developmental strategies,clarification of channels,and the government’s positioning and responsibility.Therefore,in order to further the development of the marine economy,we must rich and update the notion of marine economy by taking a scientific approach to development,and shiftthe economical concepttothe industrial concept.We should be clear about the main body of marine economy development ideologically,the government’s role in the ocean economy development systematically,and plan marine industry development strategically.
