Abstract
The volatile oil from the peel of Phoebe bournei was extracted by steam distillation method,its chemical constituents were identified by means of GC-MS,and the relative amounts of those constituents were determined by peak area normalization method.The result showed that 55 among 87 constituents were identified and quantified for 74.42% of the total volatile oil.The main constituents areα-Phellandrene(9.18%),Cadinene (6.41%),α-Carophyllene(6.23%),(-)-4-Terpineol(4.47%),Germacrene(3.45%),Isoborneol(3.34%), (-)-Spathulenol(3.28%),(-)-α-Selinene(3.24%),l-Caryophyllene(3.10%),Camphor(2.76%),(-)-Copaene (2.63%),Bornyl acetate(2.61%),2-β-menthadiene(1.90%),β-Elemene(1.32%),Viridiflorol(1.25%), 1(5)-guaienyl-11-ol(1.27%).
