Abstract

Purpose To investigate the value of MRA and DSA in diagnosis of cerebrovascular diseases. Methods 46 patients with cerebrovascular diseases undergone both MRA and DSA were reviewed. Results In all cases(22 cerebral aneurgsm, 15 vascular malformations and 9 arterial stenotic occlusive diseases)MRA gave out the correct diagnosis was 42 patients, the total check up rate was 91.3%. The rate of aneurgsm?vascular malformations and arterial stenotic occlusive diseases was 86.4% ,85.7% and 100% respectively. The methods of 3D TOF could show the lesions of arterial trunks or branches clearly, while PC and enhancement 3D TOF had the advantage of displaying vascular malformations and cerebral aneurgsm respectively. Conclusion MRA is a safe, convenient and accurate measure in the examination of cerebrovascular diseases.
