Abstract

A HG\|ICP\|AES method for simultaneous determination of arsenic and mercury in purified water is proposed. The detection limit of arsenic and mercury is 1.7μg/L and 0.1μg/L respectively. The RSD for arsenic is 3.46% and for mercury is 2.85%.The recovery for arsenic is in the range of 92%—110% and for mercury is in the range of 90%—113%.
