Abstract

In order to study the effect of the temperature distribution in different materials under the pavement layers of the box-girder,taking Chajia Bridge as a background, the finite element software is used to calculate the temperature distribution of the cement concrete pavement and asphalt concrete pavement with different thickness, and two different pavement temperature fields are compared. All the results show that asphalt pavement is more suitable for the prestressed concrete bridge pavement, and the appropriate thickness is from 5 cm to 15 cm.
