Researches and Countermeasures of the Economic Development Mode in Northern Jiangsu Province

In terms of the level of economic development,Northern Jiangsu Province is a less developed area in the whole province.Its development in the 12th-five-year Plan period will play a decisive part in the whole region.Based on the author's long-time research on the economic development in the area under discussion,it is held that local economic development should be made from the following three perspectives: the enhancement of the introduction of foreign investment,the narrowing of rural-and-urban difference,and the active development of low-carbon economies.
