Discussion on local economic theory in marine economic development——An example in coastal zone of Jiangsu Province

The coastal region in Jiangsu Province as an example,the characteristics of the research region and the scale of marine economy was small,and the power of the economy was weak.The economic development in the coastal zone of Jiangsu couldn't catch the average level of Jiangsu's.The growth-pole theory was applied to guide the economic development in the region.There are three main cities in the coastal region of Jiangsu,There is the broad marsh in Yancheng,where may be fit for planting bulrush for the paper industry.Because of good location in Nantong,building up depth ports and developing heavy industry is possible,and tourism is one of advantages for Lianyungang city.In a word,they will be the great cities as the growth nucleus of industry,promote the marine economic development in Jiangsu Province.
