Abstract
Based on the breed characteristics and developing history of Jiaxian Red cattle,the necessity of breed conservation was discussed in detail,according to the selection and breeding progress and requirement of conservation,the technical protocol of conservation and breeding for Jiaxian Red cattle was worked out,meantime,the developing and utilization strategy for this valuable cattle breed resource was investigated.
