On the basis of the history,development and present of Jiaxian red cattle,we comprehensively analyzed the importance and necessity of the protection of Jiaxian red cattle germplasm resources.It stated the technical route,direction and the method of breeding and conservation,and then proposed the specific measures to be taken.
