Modern Technique of Chinese Yellow Cattle Breed Conservation

The conservation of fine livestock breed is an important part of animal production.The rapid development of biotechnology provides new way and technique for conservation and utilization of livestock genetic resource.The characteristics and necessity for conservation of Chinese Yellow Cattle were objectively analyzed.The technique of super-low temperature conservation of semen,ovum or ovary,embryo,conservation of total genome and other biotechnical methods were summarized in the paper.
