Clinical Surgical Efficacy Analysis of 57 Cases of Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media and Relevant Complication

Objective To investigate the surgical efficacy of chronic suppurative otitis media.Methods 57 ears with chronic suppurative otitis media were treated with different techniques.Results 57 patients were followed up for 5-18 months,the average was(12.3±2.1) months.there were 53 ears of completely survived tympanic membrane with a success rate of 92.9%,none ear of re-perforation.There were 52 ears with hearing improvement of 10-15dB(accounting for 91.9%),3ears with no hearing improvement,2 ears with mild hearing loss;the total effective rate of hearing improvement was 92.11%.The hearing ability after treatment was much better than that of before treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Patients with different type of chronic suppurative otitis media should be adapt different surgical technique,therapeutic effect is significant.
