Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of Fu's subcutaneous needling combined with acupoint injection in treating postherpetic neuralgia. Methods Seventy patients with postherpetic neuralgia were randomly divided into a treatment group(40 cases) and a control group(30 cases). The treatment group was treated by Fu's subcutaneous needling with acupoint injection. The control group was treated by medication. The results were evaluated by comparing the onset time of analgesia, analgesic effect, and emotional score before and after treatment,as well as side effects during study. Results The treatment group was significantly better than the control in comparing the onset time analgesia and the improvement of emotion(P0.01,P0.05).Conclusion Combined Fu's subcutaneous needling and acupoint injection is an effective approach in treating postherpetic neuralgia.
