Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Analgecine acupoint injection combined with acupoint heat-sensitization moxibustion for postherpetic neuralgia. Methods:Sixty patients with postherpetic neuralgia were randomly divided into 2 groups. Thirty patients in the experimental group were treated with Analgecine acupoint injection combined with acupoint heat-sensitization moxibustion. The other thirty patients in the control group were treated with Analgecine intramuscular injection. Results:After one-week treatment,no significant difference of the scores of Visual Analog Scale(VAS)was found between the two groups(P﹥0.05). After two-week treatment, there was significant difference of VAS scores between the two groups(P﹤0.01). Conclusion:The effect of Analgecine acupoint injection combined with acupoint heatsensitization moxibustion for postherpetic neuralgia is superior to that of Analgecine intramuscular injection alone.
