Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of superficial needling for postherpetic neuralgia.Methods:62 cases of postherpetic neuralgia were randomly divided into two groups:superficial needling group and the amitriptyline drugs control group. The analgesic effects were observed. Results:The two groups' response rates were 96.77% and 87.09% respectively after treatment. After treatment,SF-MPQ score was significantly different in two groups(P 0.05) and after treatment the superficial needling was more significant(P 0.01).Conclusion:Superficial needling can effectively reduce pain in patients of postherpetic neuralgia and is better than amitriptyline group.
